Who is eligible for STEP?
To be eligible for STEP, prospective interns must satisfy the following required qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instruction in English

Enrolled at Riverland Community College or University of Minnesota Rochester, UM-R Students must enroll in UMR course: CLI 4394 for 2 credits
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Prior laboratory experience
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
