Join us for what promises to be the first of many successful gatherings of some of the greatest innovators in science. Registration for the event closes on Friday, Oct., 4, and abstract submissions are due by Friday, Sept. 13.

  • Dr. Hong Zhou: Professor and Founding Director of EICN (Electron Imaging Center for NanoMachines) from the University of California, Los Angeles.

The Hormel Institute is an independent biomedical research facility within the University of Minnesota's Research and Innovation Office (RIO) located in rural Austin, Minnesota. 

We proudly house the only Titan Krios machine in Minnesota, establishing ourselves as the region's leader in cryoEM and cryoET technologies. 

With our commitment to advancing these technologies, we aim to expand our services and establish the Minnesota Bioimaging Center (MBiC).
